Ex-Navy SEAL Runs: (AP)-A Former Navy SEAL U.S. and businessman has officially started his campaign for the position in the U.S. Senate John Kerry.
Gabriel Gomez, a Republican from Cohasset, said in a statement Tuesday that it has entered the race because he sees “A lot of Noise Unproductive Disputes” in Washington and think you can help solve problems.
Gomez is a newcomer to state politics.
Norfolk State Rep. Daniel Winslow became the first Republican to announce his candidacy last week.
On the Democratic side, U.S. Congressmen Edward Markey and Stephen Lynch have announced their candidacies. Marisa DeFranco, a Democrat who ran in the race for Senate last year but failed to make the ballot, is also considering a run.
