Ashley Roberts worries about jailed brother and insolvent father: His fear of bugs was the least of the concerns of Ashley Roberts when he entered the jungle.
Back home in the U.S., the Pussycat Doll, 31, has a father who has gone from being a pop star into bankruptcy and a little brother who has been arrested dozens of times.
Ashley has hinted his fellow campers I’m a paparazzi who has fought with his father Pat, 65, former drummer of 60 years Mamas and the Papas supergroup – who has also been accused of defrauding investors in his dealership Used cars.
Sources told us: “It’s terribly sad. Pat used to be so close to Ashley, but in recent years their relationship has become strained.”
Father Pat Ashley has credited for inspiring her after hearing his wild tales of excess pop when he toured with The Mamas and the Papas in the 60s.
But collided with strict Arizona Corporation Commission and accused of defrauding investors.
Pat advertised in local newspapers for investors, offering above-market returns of 20% to 25%.
The commission determined that the couple, who had remortgaged her house to pay debts, had not adequately informed investors of the risks associated with investing. They were ordered to pay almost £ 190,000 in compensation.
Pat closed businesses, but now runs another company cars called Deer Valley Auto Sales with 47-year-old Sheri.
The friend said: “Ashley used to idolize his father and began singing and dancing as a young child to make him happy.
“She really was the apple of his eye and fully supports his decision to move to Hollywood, immediately after she left school to pursue a career in showbiz.
“No one was more proud than when Pat became a burlesque dancer but their routines were very risqué.
“But Pat lived through the 60’s crazy, sex and drug-fueled crises and little of it.
“Ashley became an overnight sensation in the six months that was part of the Pussycat Dolls.
“But as his career skyrocketed, Pat went from bad to worse. He is a great salesman, but his expenses exceeded his income.
“He was forced to declare bankruptcy, it really hit the family hard. Really has been a tough year for everyone.”
Local criminal records list more than 30 charges, including two separate cases of indecent exposure after they were fired.
He has spent time in the county jail and his record has been published on the websites of local criminals.
Jayce has also accumulated arrests for rape and possession of marijuana in Los Angeles, home to Ashley, indecent exposure and gambling mecca Las Vegas.
The brothers were growing closer but since she joined the Pussycat Dolls in 2005 with current X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger – and hit the big time success with his song Cha No – she has never spoken about it in interviews.
The friend added: “The family is at a loss about Jayce.’s A pretty nice guy, but really gone off the rails.
“He remains under arrest and criminal record is not pretty.
The singer and actress admitted before that I am a celebrity began he was terrified of everything from bugs to small, dark spaces.
“I’m not very adventurous to try different things,” he said. “I’m a little scared of everything.”
But she revealed that she was looking for love in the jungle and hoping to find herself a British way with words.

“Hopefully, when you leave Australia come straight home and do things with his old father.
