Jay Chou Pays SG $25k for Girlfriend Hannah Quinlivan: Taiwanese superstar Jay Chou was spotted on a vacation in Europe with his rumoured girlfriend Hannah Quinlivan and then later at a recent concert, the singer also expressed his desire of becoming a father. But now, a report on Xin MSN’s website is claiming that Jay may pay up to SG $25,000 to release Hannah from her work contract.
Apparently the 18-year-old Hannah told her management agency that her current work was not helping her achieve what she wants in showbiz, but due to a contract with the agency, Hannah is obligated to stick around with her predicament.
Therefore rumours emerged that Jay had decided to help Hannah out and was willing to pay the SG $25,000 penalty, should Hannah decide to terminate her contract.
Hannah’s manager denied the report and said that they were still giving Hannah assignments. “I’ve never heard of the rumour, neither did anyone call to ask about Hannah’s contract,” he said.
Jay’s representative was also quoted as saying that Jay “had no intention of buying Hannah out of her contract and would not interfere with her work”. via Yahoo Singapore
